Finding Chinese Investors
I have a license to operate a manufacturing industry of my choice at a free trade zone in Nigeria, how do I get partners that will be interested in investing in the business? I also have a general trading license in Dubai and will want to partner with Chinese investors. How do I get them?
ANSWER:
I am afraid your question is a bit outside of the scope of our expertise as our focus at the CSIC is on helping buyers of Chinese products rather than those looking for Chinese investors. But if I was in your position, I would do the following:
- Contact your embassy in China.
- Contact Chinese embassy in your country.
- Use www.GlobalSources.com to identify the types of companies you think would benefit from investing with you. Contact them with your proposal.
- Attend trade shows and meet the Chinese companies directly. For example, Global Sources hosts trade shows all around the world, including Africa and UAE. You can find more at
