I plan to manufacture in China but not sell there, should I still register my IP there?

On one of your video tutorials you mentioned the importance of protecting IP.   And you said u had some lawyers u could recommend.  Although our product will not sell in China am I correct that you would I still recommend registering it there?

Yes, I strongly suggest you register you IP in China because it is not expensive and it offers real protection. If you don’t register, you are totally exposed.  Here are some links on the subject:

Private versus public in Chinese intellectual property

Per your request, I am happy to make some introductions. I’m on the board of advisors at www.AsiaBridgeLaw.com and can recommend them with confidence. The firm is China based, Chinese owned, but English speaking and focused on helping international clients in China. Professional and affordable. Here is the link http://asiabridgelaw.com/intellectual-property-ip-registration/ for the IP services.  The price is explained on that link too.
