Verified supplier still let me down. The machine wasn’t to spec.
I purchased a machine from a Chinese supplier that we verified and seemed to be good. We paid in full, received the machine and now it does not meet specs provided to the supplier, what can I do to get back the money and send the machine back?
In order to answer that question, we would need to know additional information such as terms of the contract/PO, value of the machine, payment record, supplier details and such.
Please advise on the items above and I will do my best to offer some suggestions.

If the supplier tricked you or underperformed, please add them to www.SupplierBlacklist.com and expose them to the world.
On future orders, I would suggest two adjustments:
One: Structure your payments to performance. For example, don’t pay the final amount until the goods have been inspected. Here are some related blog posts:

Two: If you don’t have time to fly to China for an inspection, engage a 3rd party for a few 100 USD. List of providers here for your reference.
